Grafton's Katelyn Hunt took control late in the race and held off a charging Naire Miller of Oak Hill for the win. Miller overtook Oak Glen's Annah Cashdollar late as the top three went under 2:25.

Philip Barbour's Sarah McCauley caught up with early leader Megan Truelove of Winfield at the end of the third lap, and then powered by to pull away for the convincing win. Truelove led the first three laps and held on for 2nd. Grafton's Katelyn Hunt outkicked Frankfort's Rebekah McBride for 3rd. The early pace was quick as Truelove went through in 2:36 with Hunt and McCauley coming through in 2:38. After that, it was a matter of who could hold on the best.

3200 Meter Run
Winfield's Megan Truelove took the lead early and was never threatened as she rolled to an 18 second victory. After her, a pack of seven existed after three laps. At the mile, Truelove had crossed in 5:40, and the pack of 6 or 7 that followed came through in 5:52-5:53. That pack held together through the 5th lap. Things began to separate on lap 6. Truelove was long gone, but the pack was starting to thin. Two of the original seven dropped off the pace. The remaining five were now stretched from 9:00 to 9:04. The seventh lap saw Grafton's Chanel Alexander and Shady Spring's Chelsea Callaway pull a little away from Roane's Jessica Roberts and Philip Barbour's Amber Adkins, and Shady Spring's Teddi Serna had lost contact with the pack. In the end, Callaway outkicked Alexander for 2nd place as the pair made it in under 12:00. Adkins pulled away from Roberts for 4th, and Serna held on for 6th. Truelove's 11:37.54 stands as the 6th Best Class AA State Meet Performance this decade.

100 Meter High Hurdles
Berkeley Springs' Meghan Mock just edged Winfield's Morganne Bennett by 0.02 to gain the title in the 100 Highs. Weir's Kandis Castelli, who had established herself as a threat with a hot trials time, was just 0.10 behind Bennett. Poca's Jordan Meadows was also under 16 seconds. Mock's time of 15.44 along with Bennett's 15.44 from the trials lands them in a tie for the 6th Fastest Class AA State Meet Performance this decade.

300 Meter Low Hurdles
Berkeley Springs' Meghan Mock broke her Meet Record from a year ago in again edging Winfield's Morganne Bennett. Roane's Ashli Knotts topped Weir's Kandis Castelli and Ritchie's Cassie Bunner for 3rd as the front five were all under 48 seconds. Mock's 44.70 time is the 3rd Best All-Time State Meet Performance regardless of class, and the Best Class A-AA State Meet Performance and the Best Class AA State Meet Performance this decade. Bennett's 45.43 is the 8th Best Class A-AA State Meet Performance and the 4th Best Class AA State Meet Performance this decade.

4x100 Meter Relay
As anticipated, Winfield ran away with the title winning by over 0.6 seconds. Point Pleasant was easily second, and Lincoln was easily the third. Winfield's 50.51 is the 4th Best Class A-AA State Meet Performance and the 2nd Best Class AA State Meet Performance this decade. Winfield's team consisted of Emily Daly, Breanna Shantie, Jillian Barnett, and Kelsey Spang.

4x200 Meter Relay
Winfield was absolutely dominant. The won the event by over 3 seconds. Ritchie squeezed past Lincoln for 2nd as these were the only three teams to go under 1:50. Winfield set a new State Record and scored the Best Class A-AA State Meet Performance and the Best Class AA State Meet Performance this decade. Winfield's group was Emily Daly, Breanna Shantie, Brittany Lee, and Kelsey Spang.

4x400 Meter Relay
Winfield took the lead early and continued to run away the rest of the race. Emily Daly, Morganne Bennett, and Emily Stewart each ran under 61 seconds to help Winfield demolish the field. Grafton won a very tight race for 2nd over Frankfort and Oak Glen as the three were separated by just 0.71 seconds. Winfield's 4:06.35 stands as the 2nd Best Class A-AA State Meet Performance and the 2nd Best Class AA State Meet Performance this decade. Winfield's complete unit consisted of Emily Daly, Preeya Shah, Morganne Bennett, and Emily Stewart.

4x800 Meter Relay
Grafton got 2:29's from Kaylen Poston and Chanel Alexander and used a 2:26 closing leg from Katelyn Hunt to overcome Winfield for the narrow victory. Winfield received a 2:29 from Rachel Ashely and a 2:28 from Holly Rooper in their 2nd place effort. Shady Spring used a 2:25 closing leg from Chelsea Callaway to take the 3rd spot.

Shuttle Hurdle Relay
Lincoln finally won their long-awaited Shuttle title, taking the victory by over a second over Winfield. Those two were way ahead of the field. Lincoln battled back from a season of injuries and didn't appear to miss a beat in taking the title.

Long Jump
Berkeley Springs' Meghan Mock won yet another title. This time, she outdistanced the field by over a foot and a half. Philip Barbour's Marteny Jacobs went a and and a half further than Sissonville's Sydney Cummings for 2nd. Mock's 17'5.75 jump was the 8th Best Class A-AA State Meet Performance and the 2nd Best Class AA State Meet Performance this decade.

Sissonville's Syndey Cummings avenged last year's defeat and kept Berkeley Springs' Meghan Mock from racking up 40 points. Cummings cleared 5'6 while Mock and Roane's Morgan Cottrell each cleared 5'4. No one else was higher than 5'0. Cummings' 5'6 jump solidifies her as the 7th Best All-Time State Meet Performer regardless of class, the 2nd Best Class A-AA State Meet Performer, and the 2nd Best Class AA Performer this decade. Mock's 5'4 solidified her position as the 2nd Best All-Time State Meet Performer regardless of class, the Best Class A-AA State Meet Perfomer, and the Best Class AA State Meet Performer this decade. Mock ranks higher in the All-Time lists because of her 5'8 leap from last year. Cottrell's 5'4 jump gives her a series good enough to rank as the 9th Best Class A-AA State Meet Peformer and the 5th Best Class AA State Meet Performer this decade.

800 Meter Run
An excellent race saw the first five runners come in under 2:00, and the sixth just over that mark. Magnolia's Luke Seavy and Berkeley Springs' Lenny Roach took the first lap in 58 seconds. Seavy then pulled away from Roach but had to hold off a hard final charge from Grafton's T.J. Abel. Seavy only took the win by 0.02 seconds. Roach held off Weir's Stewart Jones and Ravenswood's Alex Cole for 3rd.

1600 Meter Run
Weir's Stewart Jones and Berkeley Spring's Lenny Roach cruised through the 2nd and 3rd laps, and then hammered each other on the last lap, with Jones barely outkicking Roach down the stretch with Jones going 61 and Roach going 62. Webster's Skyler McCoy held on through much of the final lap, but wasn't able to go with Jones and Roach for the final sprint. Jones' 4:25.94 stands as the 4th Best Class AA State Meet Performance this decade. Roaches' 4:26.16 stands as the 5th Best Class AA State Meet Performance this decade.

3200 Meter Run
The main pack stayed together through the first mile as the front six crossed in 5:01. Until that point, no one had made a move to the front. After a pair of 1:17 laps, Weir's Stewart Jones, Webster's Skyler McCoy, and Berkeley Springs' Lenny Roach shot forward with a 69 second lap. Ravenswood's Nathan Rees, Roane's Randall Price, and Shady Spring's Nick Lucento also picked up the pace, but fell back a bit. The sixth lap slowed again to 1:14 for the front three, but they further opened the gap on the remaining three. Rees began to pull away from Lucento and Price. On the 7th lap, Jones and McCoy dropped it back down to 71 and dropped Roach, who fell six seconds back. In the final lap, McCoy made the first move, but Jones made the decisive final move with 100 meters remaining to pull away for the 3 second win. Roach easily held on for 3rd. Rees held off Lucento for 4th, and Price held on for 6th. In the end, Jones had gone out in 5:01 and close in 4:38. Jones' 9:40.17 stands as the 6th Best Class AA State Meet Performance this decade.

Winfield's Christian Powers edged Braxton's Kevin Tanner for the title. Winfield's Caleb Martin overcame an early-season appendectomy to edge Sissonville's Sami Hart for 3rd.

Winfield's Christian Powers held off the late charge of Braxton's Kevin Tanner to take the win. Tanner laid back until mid-way through the turn and then made a furious charge but was unable to catch up to Powers. Winfield's Caleb Martin edged out Berkeley Springs' Paul Truitt for 3rd. Ritchie's Alan Snodgrass was also under 41 seconds. Powers' time of 39.28 is the 6th Best Class AA State Meet Performance this decade.

Point Pleasant used a powerful anchor leg from Bernardo Caputo to pull away for the win in 44.22. Weir, Oak Glen, and Keyser also ran under 45 seconds.
